Unless otherwise specified, a logo should not have more than three colors. When creating a new custom logo design, color should be the last consideration, owing to the fact that a logo must appear excellent in both black and white and color.
I think 3 is enough, more than that could be irritating.
I'm not too sure but I would say 3 at most 🤷♀️
