Aerospace-grade aluminum alloys, plus some titanium, copper, and carbon fiber. Then I asked, what is the market value of those materials?
It turned out that the materials cost of a rocket was around two percent of the typical price after assembled.
“If I had an hour to solve a problem, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.”
